Former Mapleton Board of Education member Jim Barr passed away on Monday, January 19th, 2015. Jim served on the Mapleton BOE from January 1998 until December 2005. He also was a member of the Ashland Board of Realtors, Farm Bureau, Tri-County ESC, and Career Center Board of Education. Jim is survived by his wife, Sharon Barr, daughter April Ochier and son Ryan Barr.
